Equipoise Pilates and Age Well Fitness is a Pilates studio in Fallbrook, CA. Fiona is the owner who generously donated to our 2014 Paws In The Park Walk. We would like to thank Fiona for supporting our cause.
Fiona is a animal lover, dog owner & rescuer, horse owner and great Pilates instructor. We highly recommend her for anyone who wants to improve their level of fitness. Fiona will carefully walk you through each step to an exercise and she explains the benefits to every step. It doesn’t take long before you feel each tiny movement you make. I am currently working with Fiona to help me build by balance and strength that will help become a better rider for my horses. After one session, my chronic back pain eased up and I realized how much discomfort I live in every day. I can’t wait to get more time with Fiona.
Also….you have to see the studio and views. It’s so peaceful and wonderful. The studio is located in Fallbrook and is a must for anyone with stress. Just imagine….physically feeling better and taking in a serene atmosphere of rolling hills, birds chirping, listening to trees gently blow in the breeze and overlooking horses turned out in a pasture. It’s better than any vacation because you can go several times a week. Visit Fiona at:

Kate is 4-year old mutt. She needs a calm home where she would like to be the only dog in the household. Kate likes to learn new tricks. Kate is hoping to get a home before St. Patrick’s Day.
Here is her bio from the Escondido Humane Society.
Kate is ready for adoption! She is in good health and would love a calm home to hang out in. She is a calm and quiet dog that listens well. She would go and fetch your slippers for you and play with you on request! Kate is not a demanding dog, and is very easy to have around. She just needs a nice house to sleep in and a back yard to take in a bit of sunshine. She’s a quick and willing learner, and has already figured out “stay” and “down” and is working on polite leash manners. Kate seems comfortable around other dogs, and is very relaxed and friendly around the humans in her life. Kate would do best in a home where she could be the one and only dog. When on outside walks, she minds her own business and is only interested in a mellow walk. Kate’s adoption fees will include a complimentary full session of beginner classes.

Sunny is a Boxer mix. This 10-year old likes to play fetch. He is sweet and lovable.
Here is his bio from the Escondido Humane Society.
Sunny is currently in a foster care home in Escondido. He gets his name from his disposition! He is a happy doggy of about nine-years. Originally in foster care for a need to gain weight, he has flourished since joining the EHS family in November 2012. Naturally, Sunny likes to go on walks and he plays a lazy game of fetch, too. Sunny gladly saunters over to get the ball and he kindly returns it to his favorite place every time. Sunny loves to be snuggled in his jacket or under a blanket. At night, he will give you an adorable look from under his covers. He is just so happy to be part of a warm, loving household. Sunny responds well to affection and praise, but is not enticed by most doggy treats. He is delighted to learn and regularly participates in the EHS Obedience Classes. Sunny twirls his tail when he is happy and this looks just like a propellor. Maybe Sunny should be renamed “Pilot”! He is a gentle kind dog that would do well with other dogs or children.

March featured pet: Surf – She’s looking for a family to grow old with
Each month, we will feature a special pet who needs a little extra help finding his or her forever home. A generous donor is sponsoring the pet’s adoption fee for that month only. The donor also is providing a Petco gift card to the lucky adopters, as well as an adoption care package from Petco that includes additional coupons and a goodie bag. Be sure to stop by the EHS Adoptions Lobby often to meet our featured pets – and maybe add one to your family!
