Kittens at the Escondido Humane Society!!!

Adopted, EHS, Animal Control Carlsbad

All of the boys listed below have been adopted….but some adorable girls will be ready for their forever home soon!

Baloo – ADOPTED!

Baloo is named after the Disney movie, Jungle Book.  Baloo is so sweet.  Don’t you love his white face?  He is really cute but doesn’t realize how cute he really is.  Baloo loves to play and wrestle with his siblings and friends but he does like to snuggle with his human friends.  At night, he likes to sleep with you and be close but not too close that he gets in your way.  Before he goes to sleep for the night, he will lay on you and purr for as long as you will let him.  Baloo likes dogs and will snuggle with them and even try to start at game of tag with them.  He likes to explore his surrounds but keeps close to his human.  He likes to play with ribbons and moving toys (feathers, follow strings and things like that.).  At dinner time, call “Kitty, Kitty, Kitty” and he will come running and wait impatiently for canned food.  He likes kitty treats and will come straight to you and do a few tricks for treats.  Baloo is really sweet and quiet. Very Easy Going.   He would love a life of snuggling and cuddles.

Also…if you own an iPad, he loves to play on the website GamesForCats.com.  He really likes any games they have.

Cuff – ADOPTED!
Cuff is named after the grey marking on his left from leg. It looks similar to a cuff bracelet. Cuff likes attention and loves it when he gets extended petting time. He seems to be a little bit more mature than his other siblings, like Hamm. He spends time with the little ones and snuggles with them for nap time. He does like to play with his siblings. They always seem to be wrestling with one or two others. He has been the bigger guy but definitely gentle. Cuff does get along well with dogs, kids and other cats. He likes to investigate his surroundings and he loves finding ribbons or strings or things. He will go crazy for a feather toy. Just call “Kitty, Kitty, Kitty” and he will come running and wait by his bowl and maybe give you a little meow. He likes kitty treats and will do a few tricks for treats. He will sit up and beg, wrap his paws around your hands and gently take the treat or just give you a cute face for a kitty treat of any kind.. Cuff is sweet and funny and will make a great companion for anyone.

Hamm – ADOPTED!

Hamm got his name from the circle on his left ear. It looked similar to a soccer ball so we named him Hamm after Mia Hamm. As time has passed Hamm has grown into his name by being a little messy. Hamm has long hair and his brother Cuff taught him personal grooming. He really likes to be brushed.. Hamm LOVES his canned cat food and always needs his face cleaned up a bit after breakfast lunch or dinner. Hamm will happily stand still for his twice daily face washing. Hamm does like hanging out with his human friends and will sit with next to you as you do other things. Hamm also likes to hang with the dogs. He does like to snuggle but he is just as happy following you around. Hamm likes to play with his siblings and seems to start games of tag. He REALLY loves the feather sticks to chase. He will spend a long time playing with that. Hamm also responds to a call to dinner. Just call “Kitty, Kitty, Kitty” and he will come running and wait by his bowl for his yummy food. When he does eat Hamm makes the funniest noise. It’s hard to explain. Take him home and check it out.. He will also sit up and beg for little kitty treats. He would do fine as an only cat but a sibling or another playmate would make him very happy.
Also…if you own an iPad, he loves to play on the website GamesForCats.com. He really likes the fish game.
